Kenneth Jones is a a master storyteller and an accomplished filmmaker. He continues
to fine tune his craft of directing and writing as he discovers the heart and soul of stories
and their characters.
Early acting experiences
His interest in film and television directing and writing is rooted in his acting performaces in over 25 film, television and theater productions. His acting experience also included stints at Disney's Epcot theme parks, studio films, and network TV.
News TV Experience
Kenneth's interest was further fueled by his academic pursuits in journalism.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Florida
A&M University. During that time, he also worked for the CBS television
network affilliate WCTV as a newscast producer. He has also produced over 15
documentaries for various TV entities.
Inaugural Class of Florida State University's Film School
Kenneth was then accepted into the first class of the Florida
State Univeristy Film School. This
inaugural class had a mere 24 students who were carefully selected to begin
this renown program at FSU. He graduated with a Master's of Fine Arts (MFA)
degree. His student thesis film The
Clearing won numerous awards both nationally and internationally
and received many positive reviews and was shown at numerous screenings.
